"On that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David which has fallen down, I will repair its damages

David's tabernacle was a canopy over the Presence of God's 'Grace and Mercy' open daily for all to Thank and Praise him in Spirit and in Truth, accompanied by musicians for 33 plus years.
Music Blesses people. Most people sing; many also play. Music is both spiritual and mathematical. God Is Spirit, quantum, and eternal; could music have an eternal purpose – seeing that our life on earth is as brief as a moth, or the flicker of a flame? If so, what would its role be? Scripture not only answers the questions, to not know, or not believe, is why many musicians quit, die young, or search for a perfect situation that'll never come.
Satisfaction comes from fulfillment; frustration stinks! A lot of folks are surprised to hear that God desires to satisfy us even now with our joy full, and our hope pegged. The world wants to steal our joy, crush our hope, and doesn't want us to know The Creator at all, much less Worship Him or sing out His praises. That's why it forces its own definition of success down our throats.
"If you're not a success by the time you're 20, you're washed up." "Your voice and your hair will be gone by the time you're 30." "Being a musician will take 15 years off your life." "All the good songs are already written." SOUND FAMILIAR? They're all lies designed to get you to quit and never learn your true destiny.
You are a spirit, with a soul, dwelling in a temporary body; why not learn the truth about the spiritual dimension this planet occupies and what role music plays. I recommend "The Lost Glory" a book by David Markee.
Only Truth satisfies and has lasting value. We are designed with eternity in our hearts to find its Author. The Truth of God – and therefore our role as well – is not spoken by the wisdom, logic, or reasoning of this decaying world, therefore our hearts need to be open to receive God's Word of Life.
Today, if you will hear His voice, harden not your heart. Allow Him to fill you with new wine and you'll overflow with new song … then dust off your gigatzos and offer Him your Best! Peace.
